STARbooks Press publishes novels and collected anthologies of special interest to gay men. We happily consider any submission that is reflective of the gay male experience.

Novels and Single Author Titles

STARbooks Press will not consider unsolicited manuscripts. If you are interested in submitting a completed manuscript, please send us a query email first. Your email MUST include a short bio, listing any previous publishing experience, the first few chapters as an attachment, and a concise summary of your book in the body of the email. Let us know why writing the book was important to you and why you think potential readers will enjoy the book. At that time you will need to indicate if your book is a simultaneous submission.

PLEASE DON'T SUBMIT MEMOIRS OF YOUR LIFE, AND THAT INCLUDES AUTOBIOGRAPHIES AND LATE-IN-LIFE COMING OUT STORIES BASED ON YOUR LIFE. WE'VE BEEN DELUGED WITH THESE LATELY, AND FRANKLY, YOUR LIFE STORY PROBABLY ISN'T THAT INTERESTING TO ANYONE ELSE OR MARKETABLE TO BOOKSTORES.
